Project Overview

I led the UX and UI design for an e-commerce website aimed at improving navigation and enhancing the shopping experience for customers, ultimately driving higher sales conversions.

Results and Impact:

The redesigned website led to a 21% increase in sales during it’s active period. Customers found it easier to navigate and complete purchases, leading to a lower bounce rate and higher engagement. The client was pleased with the redesign’s impact on usability and conversions. Although the website is no longer live, the improvements demonstrated the value of UX-focused design in e-commerce.

Key Features and Improvements:

I simplified navigations and by doing that I improved the menu for better product discoverability, optimized checkout flow which reduced friction in the purchasing process, and ensured the site works seamlessly on all devices.

Conclusion & Next Steps

This project reinforced the impact of UX design on e-commerce success, demonstrating how thoughtful navigation and streamlined user flows can drive higher sales. The 21% increase in sales validated the design decisions and highlighted the importance of a user-first approach.

Moving forward, I plan to:

• Apply these insights to future e-commerce projects, focusing on conversion rate optimization and usability improvements.

• Explore A/B testing and analytics tracking to gather even deeper insights on user behavior.

• Continue refining my UI/UX design skills to create even more effective and visually engaging digital experiences.
